We decided to make a swear jar to prevent our baby J from repeating anything we may not want her too! We decided that money was not the right option since it would just be used to buy something that we would have purchased anyway. It had to FEEL like a penalty. So we did a workout swear jar! If you swear you have to pull out a slip and do what it says. And we made them hard!!
So if you come to our house and swear in front of baby J, you WILL be pulling a slip!

Dancing Babe
Our little babe has turned into a dancing machine! Anytime music comes on whether its from her toys or our ipod, she hops up and bops along to the music, she's now adding some leg swing into it! Love that girl.
PS: She is now running laps around the house with her little play cart. We are in sooooo much trouble.

Dentist?
We had a good weekend with lots of family time.
She's FASCINATED by teeth! She'd pull your tonsils out if she could only reach them.

Daddy Stories
Daddy was trying to read "The Chronicles of Narnia" to us and baby J was doing everything possible to distract him. I had started to change her diaper but she ran from me so that's why half her clothes are on! Of course instead of helping my dear husband out, I grabbed the camera!

Leavenworth, WA
We went to Leavenworth this weekend and had a wonderful time. Baby J really made us realize she is getting to be a great traveler. She even slept just like she would at home (that was my biggest fear). We walked around the shops, did a little trail walking and even did some wine tasting.
Meet the gardener. This little hillside is so steep a person wouldn't be able to mow it. So they got some help to cut the grass.
I took this picture right before she threw up all over Mike. Pretty sure THIS wasn't the reason....
Tasted some terrific wines.
Sat in a hot tub every day, had some great food and family bonding time. It really couldn't have been a better weekend.
One thing that I loved the most was how often Baby J would make someone smile or laugh. She was such a clown, people passing by a door would back up to see her again and she would never disappoint. Of course she learned to wave in the last few weeks and was acting like the welcoming committee greeting everyone. The more attention she got, the more of a show she put on for her audience!

It was another beautiful weekend with plenty of sunshine. We took a walk early Sunday morning to breakfast. Baby J has gotten better at eating real foods! She enjoys it so much its hard to get her to eat baby food or milk anymore...
We've been going through a "Wonder week" development spurt and we think another tooth is coming in. That means this weekend she was pretty fussy and clingy. We just spent a lot of time outside playing and going places for a distraction.
We set up a swing for her on the patio... I don't think I have to tell you it was a HUGE hit.
We had a huge list of projects to do this weekend also. It felt like we got through our list for the most part. Every week we are doing things to get ready for the big birthday party in June. We want to travel and start doing more things so we are trying to get ahead of the game. You'll see some of the projects we are doing in upcoming posts so stay tuned!
