My Latest Project

My father-in-law makes the most amazing quilts.  I've always wanted to make a quilt.  Well I saw this rag quilt online that said its suppose to be forgiving for first-time quilters so I gave it a shot!  The first day I started cutting, I thought this is going to be a disaster!  It didn't help much when my husband came home and upon seeing it agreed that the squares didn't seem that "square".  I almost threw in the towel at that point but I figured I could always use it as a burp cloth if it didn't turn out.  

Many days and several hours later I have a pretty darn cute quilt!
