We now have TWO teeth!  Which means I am no longer wanting to stick my fingers in her mouth to feel around for more teeth!  OUCH!

We got her nursery moved to the back of the house, and I love it!  She has twice the amount of room which means we can actually play in her room!

She is so smart.  She sees us do something once and she gets it.  She is now up on all fours rocking back and forth trying to crawl.  Forget the belly crawl... we didn't show her that!  I keep telling my husband to stop showing her how to walk!

The rest of this week we'll be getting ready for the Superbowl party... I'm getting so excited its hard to sleep. GO SEAHAWKS!!

OH flash back to this beauty of a picture.  For all of those people that judged Richard Sherman without knowing him....

Tooth Fairy and Giggles

We have our first tooth with the second coming right behind it.  Nights are a little rough right now but she always wakes up with a smile!

Baby Hawk

ON TO THE SUPERBOWL!

We had an exciting weekend with our Seattle Seahawks heading to the Superbowl.  Of course I had to deck out baby Jessy in a new outfit for the playoff occasion!

We attended a baby shower and met up with the other babykins friends. And then went home to watch the game.

I did learn an important lesson this weekend.  Dad screaming in excitement at the TV makes for one unhappy baby!

This week we're going to switch her Nursery to a room at the back of the house... you know.... before the Superbowl.  It's a lot of work but one that will make her daddy mommy her happier in the long run.

"Hey Babe, you wanna see this poop?"

Baby had her first "adult" poop!  It's so cute!  Yes this is what my life has come too... sh*t talking.

She has started eating real foods... my husband assures me that when he feeds her some actually gets IN her mouth. Obviously he's correct. (See above).

She's getting so big, so quickly... it makes me excited and sad all at the same time!

Sometimes there are moments in your life that define your true character.  It seems my husband and I have had a whole lot of those moments in the last year and half.

My grandma (sudo mother) was diagnosed with cancer and in 11 days her life ended.  It was a complete shock.  Being the only family here in town, I spent every moment I could with her.  Breastfeeding an infant does not work when you are doing that.  My husband took over care of our baby… giving her foods when he could, pumped milk when I had it and bringing her to me to nurse when all else failed.  He even spent Christmas alone with her, so that I could be with Grandma in the hospital.  Never once did he say a word but hugged me and supported me the moment I walked through the door.  His patience was endless.  His support unwavering and his love overwhelming.

We did get to go swimming Christmas night when I got home.

Went to visit dad at the office last week.  She's just making deals...

One of the best purchases I've ever made are GLOW STICKS!! They make bath time a squealing good time. Plus a fun toy afterward. Great for those diaper changes at the 6 month mark where they can hate them and try to roll. I pull mine out in the middle of the night and hand it to her.

Just search Glow Sticks on Amazon.com and you'll find a bunch of different ones and styles.  I just buy them by the case!

Two pictures were taken of baby Jessy today... One by mom... And one by dad.
